Gannon - top part cut

Mrs. Gannon was 53 years old. She is survived by her husband and five children;
Misses Annie M., Mary B. Gannon; Michael Aloysius (the Rev. Bro. D.
Michael) of St. Elizabeth's School, Philadelphia. John T. and James, Jr., who is
a member of Battery F, One Hundred and tenth Field Artillery, in France: and one
granddaughter, Mary A. Gannon.
Edwin A. Louis - The funeral of Ensign Edwin A. Louis, son of Mrs.
Pauline Louis, 25 North Collington avenue, and the late Capt. Joseph Louis, who
died last Thursday at his home was held yesterday afternoon. Services were
conducted by the Rev. Paul H. Schnatz, pastor of Fifth Reformed Luthern Church.
Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Six ensigns from the Navy acted as pallbearers and escorted the body to the
cemetery accompanied by a squad of Naval Reserves and a bugler. A volley was
fired at the grave and taps were sounded.
Robert B. Chew - Robert B. Chew, a Confederate veteran, died Sunday at
the Maryland Line Confederate Soldiers Home, Pikesville. He was a sergant in the
First Maryland Artillery and served with distinction throughout the Civil War.
The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.

George Franklin Pyne.
George Franklin Pyne, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his son, Jessup L. Pyne, 1222 West North avenue, after and illness of six weeks. Death was caused by Bright's disease and is thought to have been hastened by grief over the death of his wife, Mrs. Abbie Lee Pyne, which occourred six months ago. He was 53 years old.
Mr. Pyne had been in the employ of the city for 12 years, 10 years as a cable inspector with the Electrical Commission and 2 years as a chief counter clerk in the building inspector's office. He left the city's employ two years ago and accepted a clerical position with the Bartlett Hayward Co. He was a native of Baltimore and a son of the late James F. and Sara Pyne.
Two sons, Jessup L. and Ernest Y. Pyne; on granddaughter, Miss Dorothy Marie Pyne; a brother Charles e. Pyne, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie E. Pyne, survive.
Mr. Pyne was a member of the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation and of Monumental Lodge, No. 96, of Masons.
